Yahoo! Konfabulator: hellaNZBMonitor v2

Description:

My Yahoo! Konfabulator widget for hellaNZB will show you your current download status (NZB title, eta, progress, speed) and lets you pause/resume downloads.

Queue features to be implemented in next version! 

Changelog:

  •  New Slim(er) GUI
  • Memory usage enhancements (hopefully it wont gobble up all of it now)
  • Organization of code
  • Resource optimization

Installation Notes: Make sure you specify the appropriate connection and authentication information in the preferences for this widget.  Otherwise it will never do anything.

pfft... Samba = lame. nfs = rocks. the only reason Ihave samba on the server, is when I am connecting to it with windows. Which isnt very often anymore. Hell, even Sami uses linux now. no windows at all, crazy huh.

I just use the Firefox bookmarklet.  Visit the newzbin page, click the bookmarklet - all the hard work is done! (Widget starts monitoring download).

 

To me, thats MUCH simpler then downloading the nzb to a samba share (atleast a few clicks simpler).

Looks sweet. But, you cant beat being able to download and drop the nzb file into an nfs share to start it downloading. Sooo sweet. Using the hellahella website setup for it too. hellanzb rocks, they just need to put it into portage.. (www.gentoo-portage.com)
